Reagan's first Field Trip!

Reagan was SO excited this morning! He had been waiting for this day for a LONG time! He had his first field trip with his Kindergarten class today to the Seminole Community College Planetarium. This was one of the best places Reagan could have gone since he has such a fascination with Space.

All of the kids piled onto the school bus (that are air conditioned these days- no more sweaty butts sliding on the seats!). Reagan sat with his friend Nick, who was in our group. The planetarium show was fun, but for someone who didn't get much sleep the night before, I had the hardest time keeping my eyes open in that dark room! The reclining chairs didn't help much either! At least it was actually geared toward Kindergartners or I'm pretty sure some of the kids would have fallen asleep too...

After the show all of the children got to go to a local park near the school to eat their bag lunches under a pavilion. And what trip to the park is complete without 50 kids running a muck for 30 minutes under the 90 degree Florida sun (which is a white star by-the-way, it only looks yellow because yellow and orange are the only colors not absorbed by the atmosphere, therefore reflecting onto the sun making it appear to be yellow.....see I really DID stay awake during the show!)?!

I caught some cute pics of the kids after I actually got them all to stand still for two minutes. Reagan's teacher, Ms. Thompson, is in one of them as well.
